The challenge
Far more than just due to the coronavirus crisis, there was a significant increase in demand for adequate filter technology for the operation of commercial ventilation systems in the years 2020 to 2023. In this context, Camfil, the market leader in filters for ventilation systems, needed external support for various fire protection and facility management projects.
The solution
As an interim supervisor in Facility Management, Mr. Peter Schmidt was able to work on numerous projects at Camfil in Reinfeld (Schleswig-Holstein). Among other things, he worked on the replacement and expansion of the existing fire alarm systems, the project planning of renovations to the existing building and the optimization of operator responsibility, such as the inspection of the roof statics or the renovation of the staff canteen.
