The challenge
Due to a long-term illness in the management of the facility management staff, interim support was urgently needed for day-to-day business, the optimization of operator responsibility and numerous projects such as the tendering of services, fire protection measures and the further implementation of the CAFM system.
The solution
By commissioning the external facility manager Peter Schmidt, all tasks were handled in a structured and professional manner. The status of operator responsibility was first determined as part of an audit. Individual work packages were then drawn up. These were prioritized, budgeted and successively processed. Further tasks such as the preparation and implementation of a tender for security and gate services, the production of training materials for janitors, the initiation of the elevator modernization and the facility management during construction for the conversion of the customer hall at the head office in Dortmund were successfully completed.
