The challenge

The Facility Management and Technical Purchasing department needed a new member. There were numerous tasks for technical maintenance and procurement, occupational health and safety and environmental protection as well as compliance with legal requirements for the operation of special-purpose buildings in more than 60 cinemas and restaurants.

The solution

When he took over the management role, he initially implemented energy management software in addition to overseeing day-to-day operations. Other successfully implemented projects included fire protection refurbishments, the renovation and refitting of cinemas with armchairs, security technology and wall designs as well as participation in ASA and management meetings. In addition to the further roll-out of the existing CAFM system, an additional new site in Neumünster was transferred to regular operations and the expansion in various locations was supported.
