The challenge
For the new construction project of the university complex Campus am Augustusplatz in the center of Leipzig, both an interim food supply for the cafeteria and an operating concept for the planned bicycle parking garage are required. Due to the size of the project and the lengthy construction period, flexible planning and a facility management system that adapts to the construction progress were required.
The solution
By integrating an experienced facility manager into the construction project planning, numerous special tasks could be created both for the supply of the canteen during the construction phase and for the subsequent operation of the bicycle parking garage in the new building. Due to the dynamic nature of the numerous individual measures in particular, it was possible to meet the challenges flexibly at all times during the entire construction phase by means of variable supply and disposal concepts thanks to good research in advance.
